LAST TIME THEY MET
Round 2, Sunday 22 March 2026
Vixens (61) defeated GIANTS (55) at Qudos Bank Arena.

WHAT TO EXPECT
When the sides faced off earlier this season in Round 2, it was the Vixens who set the tone, with strong contributions across the court helping drive the result.

The Vixens will aim to extend their winning streak, currently sitting 7–0 and past the halfway mark of the season, while the GIANTS are chasing their first win. Key matchups will be crucial, particularly between Kiera Austin and Matisse Letherbarrow, with Austin sitting on 28 supershots for the season and Letherbarrow close behind on 26.

Fans can expect a big day of netball, with the action extending beyond the main game as the SSN Reserves hit the court later in the evening, offering a glimpse at the club’s next wave of talent.

ONE TO WATCH
Back to back Player of the Match, Kate Eddy has continued to improve and impress with her versatility this season.

Eddy’s ability to shift seamlessly through wing defence and goal defence has made her a key matchup option for the Vixens, bringing sustained pressure and a strong one on one contest.

Whether she’s hunting intercepts or forcing turnovers, Eddy’s work rate helps generate crucial transition ball. Against the GIANTS’ attacking line, her versatility will be vital to disrupt feeds and convert defensive gains into scoreboard pressure.

THE COACH SAYS
“I’ve got a great group, and their success this year comes down to the confidence and belief they have in each other and the belief I have in them. We’re focused on what we want to bring each week and building consistency across four quarters,” said head coach Di Honey.

THE NUMBER
28 – Kiera Austin is currently leading the league, sitting on 28 super shots for the season.
