Round 11 marks the beginning of Suncorp Super Netball’s First Nations Round, with the Melbourne Vixens set to take on the NSW Swifts at home.
The league-wide celebration will run across Rounds 11 and 12, aligning with National Reconciliation Week and recognising the contribution and culture of First Nations peoples across the sport.
The Vixens will proudly wear their 2026 First Nations dress design, created by proud Djab Wurrung, Kirrae Wurrung and Peek Wurrung woman Tarni Jarvis. The dress will feature in both First Nations Round matches as the team celebrates the stories and meaning woven throughout the design.
Saturday’s clash will also decide the Sargeant–McKinnis Cup, with the Vixens and Swifts meeting for the second time this season. The winner of the match will be presented with the cup at full time, adding extra stakes to an already important contest.
The match will also feature Deakin University as the official match day partner.
