WHAT TO EXPECT
Heritage Round, Mother’s Day and Kate Moloney’s 200th game combine to make this one of the most significant Rounds of the season, with a strong home crowd expected to lift the Vixens throughout the match.
On court, a key battle will be in the defensive end, where Queensland Firebirds defender Kelly Jackson will look to disrupt the Vixens’ attacking flow and bring strong pressure to Sophie Garbin under the post.
The Firebirds arrive with two wins so far this season and will be hungry to challenge the competition’s top side, knowing a statement performance could shift their momentum.
For the Vixens, the focus remains clear, continue their winning streak, maintain their unbeaten record, and stay firmly on top of the ladder.
Player to Watch
Zara Walters will be one to keep an eye on in the midcourt, rotating through WD/WA. Walters has produced a strong start to the season, including a standout performance last round against GIANTS Netball with 17 feeds, 9 goal assists and 2 intercepts, showcasing her growing influence on the court.
