ATHLETE APPEARANCES

Ever thought about getting a Melbourne Vixens athlete out to your next netball club function? Well now you can! While the team have a busy schedule, they are available for appearances at clinics and events.

All we ask before you submit your request:

• You check the Super Netball Fixture (link to this when live)
• Read and understand full T&Cs
• Ensure your event is a minimum six (6) weeks away

Please note: That due to international duties at number of our contracted playing group will be unavailable November – January

FEES

For Netball Victoria & Melbourne Vixens affiliates, members, and connected schools - $280 per hour per athlete plus travel costs to and from the required location. Which is calculated at .91c per km as per the ATO.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

• Players will not run a clinic, however, can be there to support coaches and provide feedback to participants.
  The organiser needs to ensure that they have coaches or a coordinator to facilitate the session with the athlete in an assistant role.
• The players cannot participate in any exercise programs where there is a risk of injury.
• Athletes should not be placed in a position where the ratio exceeds 20:1 (20 participants to 1 athlete). The exception to this is warm up and cool down.
• All requests must be placed six weeks prior to event to be considered, requests outside this timeline will unlikely be considered.
• Players’ availability will depend on their training and personal schedules, with occasional short notice change to these sometimes unavoidable.
• Please ensure you have all the details of the event finalised before requesting an athlete, all activities that the athlete will be required to do as part of the appearance will be included in the final confirmation.
• Athletes retain the right to refuse any and all activities that have not been confirmed prior to the appearance, particularly those that involve the players IP or conflict with a personal or club sponsor.
• Should the client post any content on social media pertaining to the event, Netball Victoria will retain the right to re-post and share on both Netball Victoria and Melbourne Vixens channels.
• Clients must ensure that all promotional content (using the Melbourne Vixens IP) is approved by Melbourne Vixens commercial department prior to distribution.
• Player appearances cannot exceed 3 hours in total.
• Clients must not contact the athlete for any further opportunities (e.g. appearances, employment opportunities etc), without the express written consent of Netball Victoria.
• Appearances cancelled with less than 48hr notice will incur a cancellation fee of $280.
• Appearances cancelled with less than 24hours notice will incur the full appearance fee.
