Andrew accepts opportunity overseas
Congratulations to our squad member and inaugural eleventh player Emily Andrew who has accepted an opportunity to play overseas in 2025.
Emily has contributed so much to our club, and we can’t wait to see her continue to grow her game next year and beyond.
At 191cm, Emily is a mobile shooter who can play a holding or moving circle in either attacking position. The 21-year-old has been in the Vixens environment as a squad member since 2022.
Andrew was named the tournament’s most valuable player at the 2023 Australian Netball Championships, representing the Victorian Fury, a performance which saw her selected in the 2023-24 Australian 21/Under squad.
She was elevated to the Vixens' match day squad multiple times during the 2023 season as a temporary replacement player, and was signed as the club's inaugural eleventh player ahead of the 2024 SSN season.
