The last time these two sides met, the Vixens came away with a narrow one-goal victory. The Mavericks will head into the clash full of confidence after their win over the Fever. They'll be eager to break into the top three, while the Vixens will be looking to strengthen their hold on second place.
Adding to the occasion, the Vixens will celebrate a special milestone as long-time coaching staff member Di Honey as we celebrate 200 games as a Melbourne Vixens coaching staff member.
ONE TO WATCH
Kate Moloney will be one to watch after a standout performance the last time these sides met, finishing with 21 feeds, 18 goal assists and two pickups. The midcourt battle between Moloney and Jamie-Lee Price promises to be a key matchup, with both players sitting first and second in the SSN for Net Points and recently earning selection in the Australian Diamonds squad.
