A brand-new rivalry will be born as we take on new cross-town rivals the Melbourne Mavericks as the away team in Round 1.

We return to John Cain Arena to host our first home game against reigning champions the Thunderbirds in Round 2.

Round 3 sees us take on the GIANTS at Ken Rosewall Arena before returning home for our Round 4 clash with the Firebirds, celebrating Inclusion Round on Sunday 5 May.

Inclusion Round showcases netball as a sport for everyone, with national inclusion causes championed by each club. The introduction of the round in 2023 enabled clubs to hero the LGBT+ community, the CALD (culturally and linguistically diverse) community and people with a disability.

Mother’s Day sparks the battle for the Sargeant-McKinnis Cup in Sydney in Round 5, while in Round 6 we will host the Lightning at John Cain Arena.

It’s a minor semi final rematch in Round 7 as we head to Perth for another epic clash with Fever at RAC Arena.

First Nations Round will be held in Rounds 7 and 13, aligning with National Reconciliation Week and NAIDOC Week respectively, to acknowledge and celebrate the diversity of First Nations cultures, peoples and identities in Australia and their contributions to our sport. All First Nations Round matches will be live and free on Kayo Freebies.

Round 8 sees the GIANTS visit our home turf, followed by our first King’s Birthday clash with the Mavericks when we play host in Round 9.

Round 10 then takes us to the Sunshine Coast before a defining face-off with the Swifts awaits in Round 11 as we look to reclaim the Sargeant-McKinnis Cup.

As the season comes to a head, we travel across the border for our second battle with the Thunderbirds in Round 12, followed by our final home game against Fever when we host the second First Nations Round clash on Sunday 7 July.

We hit the road for the final round, heading up to Brisbane’s Nissan Arena to face the Firebirds on Saturday 13 July.

“We know our members and fans can’t wait for season 2024, and we’re really pleased to be able to share the fixture as we look towards what will no doubt be an exciting year for Victorian netball,” said Netball Victoria CEO Andrea Pearman.

“Our Vixens love nothing more than playing in front of a packed John Cain Arena, and with key fixtures including our first ever derbies against our new neighbours the Mavericks, hosting Inclusion Round for the second consecutive year and celebrating First Nations Round during NAIDOC Week, there’s a lot to be excited about.

“Victorians love their netball, and we know SSN is a truly unique product with so much to offer. This year we broke both our membership and season attendance records and we see those achievements as just the beginning – in 2024 we’ll be working hard off the court to keep growing our Vixens family, and bringing our incredible game and athletes to new audiences.

“With this week’s announcement of the finalised Collective Player Agreement and Team Licence Agreements, we’re looking forward to introducing our 2024 squad to our fans and hitting the ground running in the pre-season.”

Fans can watch every match of the 2024 Suncorp Super Netball season on Foxtel and Kayo. The 2024 season will see the continuation of back-to-back Saturday night timeslots and Sunday matches, with all Sunday fixtures broadcast live and free on Kayo Freebies.

The Melbourne Vixens’ 2024 squad will be announced in the coming days, as player contracts are signed and approved by Netball Australia to enable official club announcements.
