Everyone Belongs: Celebrating netball leading the way

Everyone Belongs Round is a celebration of the diversity of the netball community and the sport’s commitment to creating welcoming and accessible spaces for participants – because no matter your background, ability, or how you identify, everyone belongs in netball.

The round will feature a range of interactive game day activities from Netball Victoria and its partner organisations, including Special Olympics, Queer Sporting Alliance, Proud 2 Play, the Inclusion Project and the Centre for Multicultural Youth Sport.

The Vixens will wear specially designed warmup tops and bibs, the Victorian All Abilities team will be celebrated on court at half-time along with a junior exhibition match giving participants from multicultural communities their moment on the big stage, and an Auslan interpreter will feature on the big screen throughout game day.

With another sell-out crowd expected, the third of the Vixens’ season so far, the club and Netball Victoria will together showcase and celebrate netball’s commitment to leading the way as a welcoming and inclusive sport for all.
