Squad Update: Rounds 9 & 10
Rahni Samason has undergone minor surgery to assist in her recovery from a knee injury, and will not travel with the team to take on GIANTS Netball in Round 9 and West Coast Fever in Round 10.
Vixens squad member Ruby Barkmeyer has been elevated as a temporary replacement player.
In line with League protocols, the Vixens will travel with a squad of 12 players for their Round 10 clash with Fever in Perth.
Vixens squad members Sharni Lambden and Emily Andrew will make the trip as the team’s additional members.
Lambden made her debut against the Magpies in Round 7, becoming Vixen #60 and winning the fan-voted MVP award for her performance in wing defence.
Goaler Andrew, who plays for Wilson Storage Southern Saints in the VNL, was recently named in the Australian 19/Under squad after her Victorian side took the bronze medal in the 19/Under division at the National Netball Championships in Hobart.
