Hannah Mundy has been named in the Australian Fast5 side set to compete in New Zealand in November. It’s the first time the competition will run in four years with the Aussies hoping to place higher up the rankings after securing third spot in 2018.
Mundy played an integral role for the Vixens throughout our 2022 season and was a dominant force at the Australian Netball Championships, crowned tournament MVP with the dynamic midcourter looking to carry that hot form into her international selection.
The Fast5 Netball World Series will see the world’s top six ranked teams play netball’s five a side condensed version across Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 November at Christchurch.
Mundy and her fellow teammates were selected by the Australian Diamonds Selection panel with the competition set to provide a taste of international netball for emerging Diamonds.
Netball Australia Executive General Manager of Performance, Stacey West is eager to see what the team can produce.
“We are very excited to have the opportunity to return to the Fast5 stage in the upcoming series in Christchurch,” West said.
“The Fast5 competition offers a dynamic variation of our game that gives a unique competition development experience to our selected athletes, coaches, support staff and umpires.”
