Hannah secures gold at Fast5
Hannah Mundy and her Australian teammates claimed gold at the Fast5 Netball World Series defeating South Africa (34-20) in Christchurch on Sunday.
Despite a sluggish start in the Grand Final the Aussies really hit their stride in the second term and maintained that level of intensity to come out victorious. Hannah’s dynamism and vision helped set the court alight, recording four feeds throughout the match.
The Aussies only lost one game throughout the tournament, securing a narrow win against reigning champions and host nation New Zealand before notching up a convincing win over England.
Hannah impressed in Australia’s win over South Africa on Day 1 racking up eight feeds, one intercept and one gain. Her performance against Uganda was equally solid, registering seven feeds, one deflection and two pickups.
With the international season done for 2022, focus now returns to the Vixens’ pre-season for the upcoming 2023 Suncorp Super Netball season.
