Supacore joins Melbourne Vixens family

The Melbourne Vixens' preparation for a successful year both on and off the court continues, with the announcement of another new three-year partnership, this time with sports-medi tech compression brand; Supacore.

As the official Sports Compression Partner of both the Melbourne Vixens and Netball Victoria until 2022, Melbourne Vixens athletes will be supplied with Supacore compression garments as part of the partnership.

Supacore’s seamless compression products specialise in assisting with injury recovery and prevention for core, groin, hip and back related injuries.

Netball Victoria teams, academies, Affiliates and clubs will also have access to a number of Supacore products and discounts over the life of the partnership, plus there will be fan engagement initiatives on Melbourne Vixens game days, as well as the design and sale of collaboration ranges between Supacore and the Melbourne Vixens.

Netball Victoria’s Business Development Manager, Aaron Bosse, said it is exciting for his organisation to work with an innovative brand that has a very a unique product range like Supacore.

“They’re doing some revolutionary things in this space, especially with what we have seen from their Coretech range,” Bosse said. “Plus, Supacore’s commitment to investing in netball is clear, so the alignment with the Melbourne Vixens was an obvious choice for us. We look forward to working with Supacore on developing a whole new range of netball specific compression apparel, including custom designed dress shorts that will aid the performance of our athletes and the wider Victorian netball community.”

“Over the course of the partnership we hope to see many boys and girls on netball courts across the state wearing and enjoying their Supacore garments; really transcending the partnership from grassroots to the elite level.”

Supacore’s CEO, Lesley Abeysekera, said her organisation was looking forward to working collaboratively with both the Melbourne Vixens and Netball Victoria.
