Global ticketing platform AXS has joined the Melbourne Vixens as a Major Partner and the club’s new Official Ticketing Partner from the 2027 season.

The partnership will see AXS become the Official Ticketing Partner of the Melbourne Vixens, with Vixens members and fans purchasing and managing their tickets through the AXS platform.

As a Major Partner, AXS will also take a prominent position on the Melbourne Vixens playing dress, across home and away matches and finals. AXS branding will also feature on the team’s media polo, travel jacket and replica Vixens merchandise.

The partnership comes at a time as the Vixens continue to build of continued strength for the Vixens on and off the court. In 2026, the Vixens were the most-watched team in Super Netball across the broadcast season, attracted the highest total season attendance of any club and reached a third consecutive Super Netball Grand Final.

The partnership will also come to life through the match-day experience, including the AXS Seat Upgrade, giving eligible Vixens fans the opportunity to upgrade their seats and experience the action from some of the best seats in the venue.

Netball Victoria CEO Andrea Pearman said the partnership reflected the continued growth and commercial strength of the Melbourne Vixens.

“We’re delighted to welcome AXS as a Major Partner of the Melbourne Vixens and our new Official Ticketing Partner,” Pearman said.

“The Vixens continue to be one of the strongest properties in Australian women’s sport. We were the most-watched team in Super Netball in 2026, attracted the highest total attendance across the season and our playing dress remains the number one commercial asset in netball.

“That provides an incredibly strong platform for our partners, but just as importantly, we want to work with organisations that can add something meaningful to the experience of our members and fans.

“AXS brings both of those elements to this partnership. They’ll have a significant presence across the Vixens brand, while their technology and match-day activations will help us continue to improve the experience we provide our supporters.”

AXS Australia New Zealand CEO Andrew Travis said the partnership represented an important milestone in the company’s Australian expansion.

“Melbourne sports fans set a high bar. They know what a great live experience looks like, and they expect their ticketing experience to live up to it,” Travis said.

“What I love about this partnership is that every club has its own personality. We don’t want to turn up with the same playbook everywhere. We want to add something to the experiences fans already love, from making it easier to get and manage their tickets to surprising fans with upgrades to some of the best seats in the house.”

The partnership forms part of AXS’s growing presence at Melbourne Park, where it has been appointed Official Ticketing Partner of the precinct and recently opened the new AXS Fan Hub, providing a dedicated destination for in-person ticketing support.

The Vixens are one of seven major Melbourne sporting clubs partnering with AXS across netball, basketball, soccer and rugby league.

Looking ahead to 2027

The new partnership begins at an exciting time for the Vixens, with the club assembling a new-look squad for the 2027 Super Netball season.

Captain Kate Moloney leads a returning group featuring Australian Diamonds Kiera Austin, Sophie Garbin and Jo Weston, alongside Hannah Mundy. They will be joined by New Zealand internationals Carys Stythe, Mila Reuelu-Buchanan and Amelia Walmsley, three-time Thunderbirds premiership player Tayla Williams and Australian Diamond Ashleigh Ervin.

Bringing together established Australian talent, emerging pathway athletes and international stars, the Vixens will enter 2027 focused on building the depth and connections required to again challenge for the Super Netball premiership.

Further information for Vixens members and fans about the transition to AXS, including ticket access and management, will be communicated ahead of the 2027 season.
