I’ve been involved in netball for 16 years, playing at both domestic and representative level. I now play opens at Parkville.

I started my coaching journey as an assistant to an U15’s team at Alphington Netball Club 4 years ago and have been progressing and developing my coaching skills since.I am Currently head coach for U13, U15 and U17 at Alphington Netball Club. I am also Coaching representative at Banyule Netball Association, U13 and U15.

Outside of playing and coaching teams I also work with Netball Victoria as a community coach running netball programs at schools from Prep to Year 7 and 8 students.

My expertise I would say would be Defence. I have been a circle defender my whole netball career. I enjoy the mindset required to protect the goal and the thrill when you help your team get a turnover. My favourite question is coaching defence is always “What positions defend?”, because the answer is everyone. I love coaching defence because of the many different techniques and playing styles you can use and how defence has the ability to adapt your game sense and ability to read the ball down the court.

I have completed and hold my Development Coaching Accreditation, but I am looking to obtain Intermediate in early 2024. I have completed my Diploma in early childhood care and education. I am currently studying Bachelor of Psychology and Sport and Exercise Science at ACU.
