Coach

I got involved in netball when I was 10 years old by helping my sisters team out at training and then fell in love with the sport. I played at Diamon Valley Netball Club at Banyule District from 10 to 13yrs.

I got involved in netball when I was 10 years old by helping my sisters team out at training and then fell in love with the sport. I played at Diamon Valley Netball Club at Banyule District from 10 to 13yrs.

When I was 12, Junior M League had just started its first year with 5 teams and I played in the first ever Junior M League match for Darebin Association. I met some of the Vic coaches and managers at Junior M League and was told that I should trial for the Vic u17’s and at the age of 12 I was given a training partner spot with the u17’s reserves.

I got the opportunity to play for ACT at nationals when I was 13 in 2019 in the u17’s division. I was then selected in the Vic u17’s for the next three years however the first two years were cancelled due to COVID. In my last year of u17’s my team went undefeated throughout the tournament, and we won the championship.

This year I was also lucky enough to be given the opportunity to be a training partner with the Australian u17 team. From 13 to 18yrs I played local netball at Parklands in the Darebin District and my team won 7 grand finals in 8 seasons. I also played both Junior and Senior M League for Darebin which I am still doing to this day.

The last two years I have been a training partner with the Vic u20’s. Last year I represented Tasmania at nationals in the u23’s division and this year I will be playing for Tasmania again this time in u20’s.

Throughout my time playing netball I have played every position but predominantly as a WD. I began coaching at Diamond Valley when I was 15 and coached my u13’s side to multiple grand finals.
