Eddy and Mundy to miss Vic Derby
Midcourters Kate Eddy and Hannah Mundy will miss our Round 7 clash with the Magpies on Sunday due to health and safety protocols.
Vixens squad members Jordan Cransberg and Sharni Lambden have been named in the preliminary team list as their replacements.
Kate Moloney has also been named in the squad after missing last week’s match due to health and safety protocols, and will rejoin the group pending medical clearance in line with League protocols.
Versatile midcourter Cransberg came through the Vixens Academy and has been a squad member since 2020. Cransberg offers exciting speed and vision into the circle across centre and wing attack.
She also joined the squad in Moloney’s absence for last week’s clash with the Thunderbirds.
Defensive midcourter Lambden is another Victorian pathway product, progressing through the Vixens Academy to earn a squad member position in 2022.
Similar to Eddy, Lambden can play midcourt or circle defence and brings a natural athleticism and tenacity to the squad.
