Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to have a Melbourne Vixens player at our Train Like a Vixen Clinics. We are working with our Melbourne Vixens squad (including training partners) to have players in attendance but as they are still in season with both home & away games, the squad may be travelling interstate and unavailable.
We will endeavour to allocate participants who request to be with their friends in the same group. In the case that age groups vary more than two years, we usually don’t accommodate this request.
Please ensure you have stated the friends first and last name.
While we will do our best to accommodate all preferences, to get a balance in group numbers this may not always be possible.
Participants need to bring a drink bottle with Water and morning tea/lunch/snacks unless otherwise advised.
There is a café available upstairs that parents are welcome to get a coffee or lunch, but Participants are not allowed to leave the courts during breaks.
Participants will be grouped with people in the similar age, so there’s plenty of opportunity to make new friends.
Your coach will ensure that everyone in your group interacts and is involved in the activities.
Parents are very welcome to stay and watch. You are welcome to observe and take notes - particularly if you coach a local team - to get great ideas. Parents or carers who stay to watch their child/children will receive a wristband. This is to identify parents of Train Like a Vixen participants while other sport clinics are operating at the State Netball Centre on the day.
Participants will be required to wear comfortable active gear and comfortable netball or sport runners.
Train Like a Vixen T-shirt will be provided on arrival.
Yes we have a First Aid officer at all of our clinics.
It is important that we are advised of any injury, illness or allergies prior to the clinic so we can alert First aid on the day.
If you have any pre-existing injuries, please make sure strapping/tape is done before the clinic starts.
If you need to cancel or made changes to your booking, please contact us [email protected]
If you cannot attend your clinic we are happy to offer a Credit to use on another clinic over a 12 month period. No refunds will be given unless there is a doctor certificate provided.
