More ambassadors to spread one netball message

The program has grown from five ambassadors in 2014 to 17 this year that features a mix of renowned international players, past and present ANZ Championship athletes and some of netball's rising stars.

The 2015 Australia Post One Netball Community Program was officially launched in Sydney by former Australian captain and well-known commentator Anne Sargeant who announced Elaine Osei-Safo, Johannah Curran and Melbourne Vixens Geva Mentor as Victorian Australia Post One Netball Ambassadors.

Now in its second year, the Australia Post One Netball Community Program aims to connect the growing and changing Australian community with Australia's largest female participation sport.

The Australia Post One Netball Ambassadors have professional backgrounds ranging from teachers, to social workers, to university students, representative of one of the core themes of the program – diversity.

Along with the announcement of the program's ambassadors a series of other initiatives were announced including the One Netball Round during Round 12 of the ANZ Championship, One Netball Community Awards and Come & Try Clinics that will all promote awareness and understanding of diversity and inclusion in communities across the country.

One Netball focuses on increasing engagement with multicultural and Indigenous communities, people with disabilities, socio-economically disadvantaged communities and regional and remote communities.
