Membership FAQs

There are a number of ways to sign up as a Melbourne Vixens member:

Existing members looking to renew will need to log-in to the Melbourne Vixens Members Portal found at melbournevixens.com.au using their username and password. If you have forgotten your username or password, click on the 'forgot details' link to retrieve these.

New members will be able to purchase 2024 Vixens membership team.

Yes, Netball Victoria members receive a 10% discount on Melbourne Vixens membership packages. You will be required to have your Netball Victoria membership number to receive the discount and quote 2024MVNV to receive the 10% discount.


When purchasing a 2024 membership online, enter 2024MVNV in the Add a promotional code field on the Your Shopping Cart page prior to entering payment details.

When purchasing Vixens home game tickets via Ticketek, enter password 2024MVNV in the password box on the event page prior to finding tickets.

A Member's username will be identified on your 2024 renewal notice/email. Alternatively, you can contact the Melbourne Vixens membership team on 1300 VIXENS (84 93 67)

Members must be aged under 15 as of 01 January 2024 to qualify for a junior membership.

The following concession policy applies to the sale of 2024 Melbourne Vixens memberships:

  • Persons aged 15 and over as 01 January 2024 are classified as an adult, unless they hold one of the following valid Concession identification, then they are able to purchase a 2024 Melbourne Vixens membership at the concession rate:
    • Centrelink issues: Pensioner Concession Card (PCC)
    • Department of Veterans' Affairs card or Department of Veterans' Affairs issued Pensioner Concession Card*
    • Full time secondary or tertiary student cards**
    • Centrelink issued: Health Care Card (HCC)*

2024 Melbourne Vixens family memberships must consist of two (2) full adult and two (2) junior members or one (1) full adult and three (3) junior members. Junior members must be under the age of 15 as of the 01 January 2024.

If you hold a valid and current Government issued Companion Card, you are entitled to one complimentary membership (at the same category as the membership you purchase) for your carer.

Once you purchase your membership, send proof of your Companion Card via email to [email protected] or post to:

Once approved, we will issue a complementary membership that is the same as the one purchased.

The first instalment will be debited at the time of receiving the renewal application. Remaining instalments will be debited on the 12th of each month from October 2023 to March 2024.

We kindly ask members who utilised the direct debit payment plan to have sufficient funds available on these dates.

Members will also be charged a $10 service fee to use this service.

Flexi memberships are an affordable option that allows you to coordinate seats with other Flexi Members or purchase additional tickets for your family and friends. Ticketing is subject to availability.

Flexi Short Pass and Flexi Full Court membership allow you to select your own seat in silver or bronze areas each match through the Ticketek website at no additional fee.

Flexi Plus Short Pass and Flexi Plus Full Court membership allow you to select your own seat in gold, silver or bronze areas each match through the Ticketek website at no additional fee.

Purchase a Full Court Squad membership to have access to sit in the Cheer Squad area for every 2024 Melbourne Vixens home match at John Cain Arena.

2023 Melbourne Vixens Full Court Reserved Seat & Cheer Squad membership holders have until Friday 8th December 2023 to renew their existing reserved seat allocation. Members who do not renew prior to the cut-off date and wish to renew their existing membership product will be provided with a new reserved seat allocation in 2024.

2023 Full Court Reserved and Cheer Squad members, who with to renew and add additional supporters to their group, are required to forfeit their current reservation seat allocation.

The Melbourne Vixens cannot guarantee the new reserved seats will be located near your current reserved seat allocation. We kindly ask renewing members to carefully decide if they wish to forfeit their current allocation, as we cannot provide you with your existing reserved seat allocation if you change your mind.

The Melbourne Vixens will allocate reserved seat changes/upgrades within date order of receiving the application. The Melbourne Vixens is unable to, and does not, guarantee that your seating request will be able to be accommodated.

2023 reserved seat changes/upgrades will start to be processed from Monday 8th January, 2024 and you will be notified of the outcome of your application as soon as possible.

When purchasing a Full Court Reserved Seat or Full Court Squad membership for the first time, you will be prompted to identify your preferred seating location at the time of purchase. Feel free to also email us after you have purchased to confirm your seating preferences.

Please identify what side of the court you prefer (side of court or goal ends) or be specific and state the section/s you prefer to sit in at John Cain Arena.

Melbourne Vixens is unable to, and does not, guarantee any seats will be available. New 2024 reserve seat requests will start to be processed from Monday 8th January 2024 and you will be notified of the outcome of your application as soon as possible.

Vixens4Life is a payment option offered to all Melbourne Vixens members.

Just opt in and your membership will automatically roll over each year.

  • By agreeing to the Vixens4Life payment option, a member authorises Netball Victoria to automatically renew their annual membership in October each year and debit their nominated credit card for the membership fee (either monthly or in full) for the forthcoming year in accordance with Membership terms and conditions including:
  • Members ill be given at least 7 days' notice in writing of the relevant membership fee and any changes to the relevant Member's membership category or entitlements before any Vixens4Life rollover takes effect.
  • Members can opt out of Vixens4Life payment option at the conclusion of their last installment and prior to the first installment of the following season by notifying Netball Victoria in writing or via email to [email protected]. Where notice is given before the 12th October 2023, there will be no automatic renewal of membership. All outstanding payments must be complete at time of opting out.

2024 membership cards and packs will start to be sent out from early December 2023*

From then on, packs will be sent out every 2-4 weeks after purchase.

*Only Beyond the Court and Flexi Memberships will be send out prior to Christmas 2023.

2024 Full Court Reserved and Cheer Squad members will receive their 2024 membership packs and card after Christmas once all reserved seat changes have been processed.

Allocation of reserved seating to new members and existing members who request a seat change, will commence after 8th December (2023 reserved seat members renewal deadline) in date received order.

If you have lost your personalised membership card, please contact the membership team on 1300 VIXENS (84 93 67) to have your membership card re-issued. Once your membership card has been re-issued your previous barcode will be invalid.

If you haven't received your personalised membership card and pack, please contact the Melbourne Vixens membership team via email or phone 1300 VIXENS (8493 67). If your membership card needs to re-issued your previous card's barcode will become invalid.

Flexi and Flexi Plus Members are required to reserve a seat for all Melbourne Vixens home matches through the Ticketek website using their barcode (found on their membership card). There will be an exclusive pre-sale period for Flexi/Flexi Plus members to reserve seats to Vixens 2024 home matches prior to tickets going on sale to the general public. There will be no additional transactions or booking fees when booking through the Ticketek site. Please note, ticketing is subject to availability.

Yes, at the time of booking your seats you will be able to purchase additional tickets in the same transaction to ensure that you all sit together.

Yes - a 2024 Melbourne Vixens membership is transferable to family and friends.

A 2024 Melbourne Vixens membership will give patrons one (1) entry entitlement per home game throughout the season based on the game entitlements of you membership. Please note that the transferring of membership is subject to the classification (e.g. concession and junior) of the membership.

Melbourne Vixens members will automatically receive Melbourne Vixens emails if you provide your email address at the time of joining up. You will receive weekly emails during the season with match previews and reports.

If you wish to opt-out, please unsubscribe through the email you have received.

If you are no longer receiving these emails, but wish to join the mailing list again, please contact the membership team via email or via phone 1300 VIXENS (84 93 67).

To ensure you receive all Melbourne Vixens communication, we kindly ask Members to visit the Melbourne Vixens Members Portal and follow the prompts to update your personal details to contact the Melbourne Vixens membership team on 1300 VIXENS (84 93 67).

Melbourne Vixens members have access to purchase a ticket to away interstate matches through the Melbourne Vixens. Members will be required to contact the club via email two weeks prior to the match for tickets and payments to be organised.

If a member forgets their membership card on match day, they can visit the Vixens membership window at the Box Office located at John Cain Arena's main entrance (Gate 6) to organise a replacement ticket on the day.

The Melbourne Vixens Fan Day is yet to be scheduled. Details will be communicated to members once finalised.
