In a breakout year in 2018, Rahni Samason relished her opportunity in her first year as both a Vixens squad member, and a part of the Victorian Fury team.

Scoring 524 goals throughout the ANL season and finals series, Samason capped off a remarkable season being named both Deakin University Australian Netball League MVP and Victorian Fury MVP.

Unfortunately, injury struck late in 2018, with Samason rupturing her anterior cruciate ligament in training which has seen her sidelined for much of 2019. Her commitment to netball has kept her motivated while recovering in the hopes to step back on the court soon.
