Kelsey Browne has been named as a temporary replacement player for the Melbourne Vixens ahead of Sunday's grand final rematch against the Queensland Firebirds at Hisense Arena.

Browne, 23, is the younger sister of Madi Robinson and has been a training partner with the Vixens for the 2015 ANZ Championship season.

Browne currently plays Championship Division in the Victorian Netball League for Yarra Valley Grammar Ariels and has represented Victoria in state and national competitions.

Robinson suffered a season ending knee injury in Round 6 on Monday against the West Coast Fever.
